The power of Global Vision for Peace lies in our idealism and insistence on peace as the primary and overriding principle, and in creating innovative high-profile collaborations between entertainment, business and government to promote the consciousness of peace.

Global Vision for Peace, in association with The United Nations, has recently launched Artists for the U.N. to recruit artists of letters, philosophy, visual arts and entertainment, and statesmen and stateswomen who support peace, to explicitly affirm the vision and power of The United Nations as the global peacekeeping body. Participating artists are named “A Friend of the U.N.”

The inaugural Artists for the U.N. outreach is the Academy Awards 2004.
